Rod Marlin - Executive Chairman

Rod was the President, CEO and a Director of Eveready Inc. - a Toronto Stock Exchange listed company which provided industrial maintenance and oilfield production services to the energy, resource and industrial sectors throughout North America - - and its predecessor companies from 1995 until that company’s acquisition by Clean Harbors, Inc. in July 2009. Following the completion of that acquisition, Rod provided consulting services to Clean Harbors, Inc. until July 2010, and continues to sit on their board of directors. Clean Harbors, Inc. is a public company listed on the New York Stock Exchange that provides environmental, energy and industrial services throughout North America and in several international locations. Rod was also the founder and President of Marlin Travel Group from its inception in 1967 to its sale in 1993 – at which point it was Canada’s largest travel company.

 

John Stevens – President and Chief Executive Officer

John was the Interim CEO of G.L.M. Industries L.P. - an Alberta based company which specializes in the fabrication of storage tanks of pressure vessels, and supplies the global marketplace - from November 2010 until March 2011, and CFO of that company from April 2010 until January 2011. Before that, John was the President and a Director of NC Services Group Ltd. – a private crane and specialized hauling company operating in western Canada and the U.S. - from May 2007 until October 2009, and CEO of that company from November 2008 until October 2009. John was also the Senior Vice President of Eveready Inc. from August 2006 until May 2007 and the CFO of Eveready Inc. from September 2002 until May 2007. John has held various senior accounting positions, including CFO, while at Nilsson Bros. Inc. - a private meat packing, livestock and food processing company - from 1990 to 2002. Mr. Stevens received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta in 1989 and has been a member of the Society of Management Accountants since 1993.

 

Jason Vandenberg - Chief Financial Officer

Jason was the CFO of Eveready Inc. and its predecessor companies from June 2008 until that company’s acquisition by Clean Harbors, Inc. in July 2009. Following the completion of that acquisition, Jason provided consulting services to Clean Harbors, Inc. until November 2009. From May 2010 until June 2011, he was the Vice President, Finance with Afexa Life Sciences Inc., a life sciences company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Prior to June 2008, he was Vice President, Finance of Eveready Inc. and its predecessor companies from August 2006 to June 2008 and the Corporate Financial Reporting Manager for Eveready Inc. and its predecessor companies from April 2005 until August 2006. Prior to this, Jason spent six years as an accountant with the national chartered accounting firm of Grant Thornton LLP. Jason received a Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction from the University of Alberta in 2000 and the designation of Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta in 2002.

 

Glen Fleming – Executive Vice President Operations

Glen has been the founder of a variety of companies throughout the energy services industry, and developed these companies building corporate structures from the ground level and maximizing potential through quality of work, customer service and creative problem solving solutions. Most recently, Glen held the position of General Manager of Northern Operations with Eveready Inc. and its predecessor companies from 2002 to 2008 when he then accepted the position of Vice President and later Chief Operating Officer with that organization. In 2009 he accepted the position of Executive Vice President with Clean Harbors, Inc. post its acquisition of Eveready Inc., working primarily on integrating operations until 2010. Glen joined ENTREC in 2011.

 

Gavin Mcleod - Vice President Finance and Operations

Gavin joined ENTREC in July 2011 as Financial Reporting Manager, a position he filled until August 2012. From August 2012 until January 2014 he served as ENTREC’s Corporate Controller. Prior to July 2011 he was Director of Finance with Petrocom Construction Ltd., a privately held general contractor specializing in petroleum related construction from January 2010. Prior to this, Gavin spent four years as an accountant with the national chartered accounting firm of Ernst & Young LLP. Gavin received a Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction from the University of Alberta in 2006, and the designation of Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta in 2009.

 
 

Whitney Irwin - Vice President HSE & Training

After working for Flint Energy Services Inc. - a multinational publicly traded company and ENTREC’s former parent company - Whitney re- joined ENTREC in October 2011. Her experience with Flint, supporting the Oilfield Service Group across North America offered her the opportunity to provide training and process support, lead integrations and implementations, and organize two new start-up branches. Since rejoining ENTREC, her leadership has supported the company in developing and redesigning, as required, the financial and operation applications to keep pace with a fast changing business, while also integrating the systems and processes through several acquisitions and tremendous growth.
